Sophia Throuvala

Sophia Throuvala is a graduate of the Department of History and Theory of Art, of Athens School of Fine Arts.

Since 2020, she is a postgraduate student in Management of Monuments and Arts of the Department of History and Archaeology of the University of Athens and in the Department of SARAS of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Her main academic interests are sculpture and space. She has also furthered her education with courses in photography, preventive conservation of artworks, curating and art valuation, artistic research and organising and promoting art events, while she has also collaborated with photographers and sculptors.

In her spare time, she photographs with a Pentax k1000, reads literature and texts about Medieval history, listens to music and drinks a lot of coffee.
