Christina Ioakeimidou

She studied in the Department of History and Archaeology in AuTh, specialising in Archaeology and History of Art. After graduating, in 2018, she continued her studies at Edinburgh College of Art of Edinburgh University, graduating with Honours from the MSc programme Architectural History and Theory in 2019.

Her thesis "Mass-Housing of the 20th Century: The common ground of a divided Europe. Α Comparative Study of three Housing districts: The case studies of the Soviet Union, Eastern Germany & Greece” centres around her general interest in the social and cultural impact of buildings in contemporary societies and its representation in film, painting etc.
