Oikos Stools – Maryam Turkey

During the quarantine studio Maryam Turkey created a series of outdoor stools. They symbolise home (which is “oikos” in Greek) and the different sizes and colours represent the different characters of each house. A small square opening, steadily present in each piece, leads to a "hiding spot.” The Oikos stools are made from recycled paper clay, plaster and resin.
