Soft Format

'Soft Format' is a new body of work by Athens-based printmaker and illustrator Christina K., presented in the project space of the bookstore Hyper Hypo. Each piece in the series features her signature monoprinting technique, artfully blending an experimental sense of colour and loose form. The works are drawn from the world of fashion, an endless source of inspiration for the artist. 

Christina K. is a Greek artist born in 1980 who has been working in illustration, printmaking and film ever since she graduated from London College of Communication in 2003. She has worked with a wide range of clients such as Ogilvy & Mather, Saatchi & Saatchi, Mother London, Levi’s, La Perla, Vogue, De Beers and others. She has also been commissioned to create drawings for textile and wallpaper design but her current and ongoing personal work maintains a strong focus on experimenting with monoprinting.

On the occasion of the exhibition “Soft Format”, Hyper Hypo has published a zine and a series of posters, featuring a selection of works by the artist.
