Object Rotterdam

Every year OBJECT occupies an iconic building in or around Rotterdam, the designers are present for a personal meet and greet.

OBJECT is a unique pop-up platform for design labels as well as limited editions and one-offs from established and upcoming designers. Working in different design disciplines and with various materials. OBJECT is the place where the cutting edge between design, crafts, fashion, architecture and art becomes evident and it is a must see for people interested in interior, designlovers, art professionals and collectors. Every year OBJECT occupies an iconic building in or around Rotterdam, the designers are present for a personal meet and greet.

Director and owner of OBJECT is Anne van der Zwaag, also the founder of BIG ART. Anne works as a curator, writer and consultant in the creative as well as the commercial industries. She curated large interdisciplinary exhibitions such as PASTOE (Kunsthal), WIT (Nederlands Fotomuseum), BAL! (Paleis Soestdijk), Must See (Zuiderzeemuseum) and wrote several publications on design, art, fashion, architecture and colour. Anne is active in many boards, jury’s and advise committees and is a guest tutor at art and design schools in the Netherlands and abroad. She acquired OBJECT in 2012, the fair is organised yearly by her dedicated team of art professionals and design lovers.

The 2022 anniversary edition has a festive touch. All visitors of the fair in the HAKA building are also invited to the iconic Euromast, which you can visit for free. During OBJECT we offer a design presentation and you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city.
