Ceramic Art: painting & sculpture

Exhibition duration: 17 APRIL – 31 May 2022 | OPENING: April 17 at 6 pm

Mon Coin Studio presents the exhibition "Ceramic Art: painting & sculpture" group show, hosting 57 Greek artists, ceramists and painters -both professionals and amateurs- who will show their contemporary Greek ceramic works.

The exhibition opens on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at 18.00 and will run until Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in the Mon Coin Studio venue, in Monastiraki. The selected works are curated so the audience can explore the many ways of expression through ceramic art, focusing on ceramic sculpture and painting on ceramics. Τhe spatial properties of painting and the multiple perspectives of a sculpture are highlighted in the show, with works that transcend the category of craft and meet fine art.

Ceramist and Mon Coin Studio founder Eleonore Trenado - Finetis often opens her space to artists of the vibrant Greek ceramic art scene artists to show their take on contemporary ceramic art.
